I have been so busy lately that I haven't had a chance to update and post the new designs I have made. But since I am on the computer now, I will go ahead and add them.

The latest design I have finished is for Kusinang Pinay. All of the designs were customized and this is the latest layout that I have with the menu bar on top of the layout. Another design that I made was for Pinay Pathways. This is not a complete makeover but it was for a custom header, menu bar, badge and an additional sidebar making it a 3 column instead of 2.

A Blog Makeover for Happy Life

Caught in the act... (Scrapbook Saturday)

Here's my entry for Scrapbook Saturday... I am posting really early because I am still up trying to finish up my lab work for Statistics and I can't seem to figure out how to do the problem for "poisson probability" so I took a break by making a layout. I am hoping after making the layout I will be able to figure it out, but no luck. I guess I'll just have to do it tomorrow and ask my professor about it. Just ignore what about I wrote about probability..

This was taken last month and this is one of those days where the little one don't want to sleep so we ended up going outside to play so she will get tired. She was trying to pick the little flowers from the flower bed. If you see my front flower bed, you will noticed that the flowers on the plants are almost gone because my daughter loves to pull them. Oh well...

I love taking pictures of my daughter and a lot of times they don't turn out the way I like them to turn out. Most of the time, I cannot make her stay in one place so I can take a picture of her. Although now that she is a little older she can actually say "cheese" and pose for the camera. But that will take like 1 second and she is off somewhere else.

Blog Makeover for "Dragon Fly Mystic"

Finally this design is done. One of the longest makeover I ever did. Longest in a sense that we just recently wrap up... We went through a couple of header designs but finally we have a winner. ;)

Hue of Green Mini Kit

It has always fascinated me on how designers creates digital scrapbooking elements or anything to do with digital scrapbooking. So I thought I'd get my hands dirty and start making small elements at a time... to sort of practice. And so far I have created 2 freebies already. If you missed both of my freebies, you can get it here and here. Download them if you like it.

The 2 freebies that I had was mainly papers and alphas. So I thought I'd try making some small elements and I think it turned out decent enough for scrappers to use.

I call this element... "Hue of Green". I love green color, it's probably why the name has green on it. This mini kit comes with 7 papers, 3 are solids and 4 has prints on it, 3 flowers, a shrub, 2 square frames and an lower case alpha.

Personal Freebie: Coffee and Cream Collection

**Since I don't have a lot of spare time to do scrapbooking LO, I am entering this for the hopefully the other scrappers can use it. I also have another freebie called "Minty Collection". You can scroll down to get to the download page if you would like to download it.

Had a great time creating this new collection for digital scrapbooking. I call this new collection "Coffee and Cream Collection." It comes with 8 papers, 4 of them are polka dots and 4 are solids. Each solid papers has a pair of polka dots paper. There are also 5 different font designs that you can use and choice from.

I've always love the color combination of pink, browns and cream and when I had the chance to play with them, I was able to come up with this collection.

Custom Blog Makeover for "Confessions of an Army Wife"

This is the latest design that I made. This is for Blessie of "Confessions of an Army Wife". I love, love how this turns out because of it's simplicity but at the same time it has a certain appeal to it. Also, I added a little effect on the woman on the header, made the hair and clothing black and white and then the skin has a color. You can click on the header to see the live design.

This makeover included a custom header, sidebar tags, signature, menu bar (on the right top corner), floating sidebar (both on the right side) and a fixed background.

A badge for her blog was also created (not included on the package). I made it so it would look like a smaller version of the header. A great way to tie the design together and of course when people see your badge, they have an idea of your blog in general.

I had a great time designing this one because the idea just keep pouring out. I hope she will enjoy her new look.

Minty Collection: Personal Freebie

I am so excited to tell you that I have my first ever personal freebie.. Hurray!!! I had a great time playing with the newly installed Photoshop on my computer and last night while I was doing a couple of layouts, I ended up making my first collection of digital scrapbooking papers and letters.

I call it Minty Collection. It looks a little minty to me... :)

Design for Single Parents Unite

Here's the final design for Single Parents Unite blog. The template for this one was a little bit tricky to work with but it turned out really pretty. I hope Lori loves the new look of her blog.

This makeover comes with a custom header, custom sidebar tags, color coordination, 2 floating column and a fixed background. I also added some frames on the images on the sidebar and scroll bar to manage her list of awards and readers.

Custom Headers For Single Parents Unite (WW)

I've been working on a couple of designs lately and so far I am pleased as to how they are turning out. The two headers are the same layout just different on the color scheme but the one in the middle is a different scenery although the theme is the same. Basically I came up with the design based on the title of the blog and just started putting the pieces together. The owner of the blog actually choose the one at the bottom but I also love the one in the middle.

The header in the middle, I added the little girl in the window peaking to give it a different appeal.

Yummy Lollipop

Taken last Saturday when we went to McDonald and this McDonald don't have any play area. Rare for a McDonald with no play area. But since they don't have a play area we goof around with the little one. Here's one of her photo when she was giggling so much.

On this photo she looks so grown up with her hair tied in pigtail and it somehow reminds me that the little one is growing up so fast.

You probably can tell by now that I get bored with my design easily.. It's not that I am not satisfied with the designs, because I am, it's just that when your a designer, you constantly experiment to come up with something new. And the best area to practice is with my blog. :)

So, I was browsing around with some of the digital scrapbooking materials that I have while trying to come up with a design for one of my customer and was inspired by this design.

So now I have the same layout basically just different headers and color combination.

Van Campenhout - Reyes Nuptial

One of my closest friend is tying the knot this coming September of 2008. And I got inspired by the thoughts of getting married. So I used this template and added a little bit of design to it. The template was premade by Lauraskathi and then I added the 2 background color, put a little shadow on the first green background, add a little bit of wordings and it turned out just the way I like it.

I finally had some inspirations and made some layout. (digital scrap booking materials by Mila's Design). This one is very simple. I had 2 backgrounds, 3 frames, a twig, 2 bows, one with shell on it, wordings, flowers (just one type of flower) and some leaves, buttons, stitches, flower stamps, swirly dots and of course the picture of my little one.

Little Polka Layout

This is one of those days that I get inspired and just start putting together something and come out with this. I call it Little Polka because it started with the little polka dots.

This can also be made into a blog header. All you have to do is change the name into the name of your blog.

Barefoot n' Polished Header

Wow! Customizing header is making me really busy... busy, busy as a bee..

So today, I just finished another one for Barefoot n' Polished and it only took me a day, couple of hours actually. Some inspiration going here. Usually when I'm on a roll, I can finish it in one day. But there are times that I just stare on my monitor and I can't find any inspiration to make any design.

Liquify Mesh- Wordless Wednesday (Tuesday Edition)

This is so exciting for me. I been messing up with Photoshop lately trying to learn how to use it so I don't have to use 2-3 programs when I'm doing some designs and I came across with the Liquify function. You can find it on your Menu Bar - Filter -Liquify or by using shorcut keys SHIFT + CTRL + X.

So I played with it a little bit and this is how it turns out.

My very first digital kit - In the Making

For the past couple of days now I have been trying to put together a digital kit for scrap booking. However, I can't seem to find the write combination of embellishments, fonts, papers and elements but hopefully I will get there. I have a few ideas that I have put together already and I think it's going to be fantastic once I finished putting it all together.

Check out the digital kit as I put it together. Once everything has been put together it should be available for download here in my blog for let's say... credits. Just mention where you got the kit (with link to my blog) on your post and that's it.

This is the current combinations that I have so far. I may still removed some ( definitely will be removing some that don't fit on the kit) and will be adding some more designs.

I live near the beach and it has lovely white sand, clear blue water, lots of activities happening on it. I want a header which has something to do with the beach. :)
